About

Aaron Tyler Running Club was born of the idea that so many people want to run, and everyone can, yet many of us seem to struggle with running.

Running is such a simple process that we all learn to do as children, and enjoy as children, and then, unfortunately, we seem to forget both the how to and enjoyment of running as we get older.

It was this thinking that lead me to develop Aaron Tyler Running Club.

How We Work

ATRC offer individuals of all running ability, the opportunity to train towards specific goals with the use of our specially designed running programmes in our social groups under the careful eye of our dedicated trainers.

Where it Started

ATRC started in March 2010 with a 7 week course leading up to the 2010 Bristol 10K. We had 7 runners on that course who went on to complete the race in times ranging from 40 to 75 minutes. Now we have clubs across the UK with a membership base nearing 1000!

We have trained hundreds of runners and can proudly claim that every runner who has completed each session of a programme and the accompanying training schedule has gone on to run their first 5K, 10K or Half Marathon or get a new PB!

Highest Level of Instruction

Our programmes have been developed to provide you with the absolute highest levels of instruction, motivation and guidance in an outdoor, social environment, without the intensity and intimidation that can be found at some Athletics clubs on a track.

That isn't to say that our programmes and sessions aren't challenging, just that they are designed and then adapted to make sure they fit to your individual abilities and goals.

The Results

Literally hundreds of our runners have gone on to complete their first 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon. Our progressive programmes offer an ideal first step into running or more advanced coaching to improve stamina, strength, speed and flexibility.

Oh, and did we mention it does wonders for your waistline? All while making new and long lasting friendships.

"Aaron, thanks for the training over the past few weeks, did the 10K yesterday (my first one) and was hoping to break the hour mark or at least to not stop running... managed it in 51 mins and I am extrememly chuffed so thanks for helping with my running and giving me the confidence to keep on going. I will be joining the training for the Bath Half and hopefully can manage just as good a time. Thanks!
